The Viquesney Doughboy that once stood in Trion was moved to Summerville and rededicated there on November, 11, 1988. The photo shows the statue at its original location in Trion, in front of the Trion Company cotton mill building. The statue was moved and rededicated again in May, 2021, and now stands in Dowdy Park.
