There are fourteen names of World War II casualties engraved on each side and five names of Vietnam casualties engraved on the back.
Dedicated May 4, 1923. The acquisition of the sculpture and monument were authorized by the Logan County Board of Commissioners in September 1921, but the statue was not dedicated until 1923.
