(followed by 43 names of veterans in two columns and 4 names of those who died in service.)

A horizontal plaque in front of the lower part of the base to honor those who served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam was dedicated November 11, 1995.
Dedicated in 1931. The Doughboy and monument were refurbished, sandblasted, cleaned and buffed in the summer of 1995. A replacement bayonet was added at that time. While the rifle sling appears to be missing, it is believed that the Doughboy is in generally good condition.
The Doughboy is the first stop on Frenchtown's annual Memorial Day parade, where a wreath is laid.
