1935 (est.): MEMORIAL TO THE WOMEN OF THE CONFEDERACY
About 1935, Viquesney produced this tribute to the women of the Confederacy, patterned after one of the figure groups in two large outdoor monuments at Macon and Rome, Georgia.
Unfortunately in the ad below, Viquesney leads the reader to believe that he himself sculpted the figures on the large monuments, but they were done by other artists. The figures on the Rome, Georgia, monument were done by John Walz, and the Macon figures by an unknown Italian sculptor.
