KENTUCKY
The Commonwealth of Kentucky has eight Viquesney "Spirit of the American Doughboy" statues. Six are the sheet bronze version at Harlan, Liberty, Monticello, Morehead, Pikeville, and Winchester, and two are the later cast zinc version at Grayson and Jamestown. After being destroyed in a traffic accident, the original zinc Jamestown statue was replaced with a bronze replica in 2008.
