CURRENTLY KNOWN LOCATIONS OF VIQUESNEY'S DOUGHBOY
E. M. Viquesney often boasted in his ads that "over 300" of his "Spirit of the American Doughboy" memorials were placed across the country, and that at least one of them could be found "in every state of the Union" (48 at the time). But the statue, or records of formerly existing ones, have only been found in the following 39 states*.

A link to an interactive map by Eric Marshal of the Tour of Honor group showing many locations of the Viquesney Doughboy can be found here. Viquesney Doughboys on the map appear as brown icons.
*Nebraska once had a "Spirit of the American Doughboy" in Omaha, the only one in the state, but it was either contributed to a WWII scrap metal drive in 1944 or stolen around 1959, depending on which account you believe. In any case the statue was never replaced. Thus today the number of states with existing Viquesney Doughboys is 38.
