SOUTH CAROLINA
South Carolina is one of the few examples where an original statue was kept in a museum after it was replaced with a replica. Thus there are two entries for Greenville (original and replica). South Carolina is also unusual in that one city, Columbia, has both an original and a copy-after. Thus there are also two locations listed for Columbia. All together, there are six existing, but only five displayed Viquesney Doughboys in South Carolina: *Anderson, Columbia (2002 replica), Greenville (original in museum), Furman University Campus (Greenville 2004 replica), and Olympia (an original in a section of Columbia).
*Anderson also has a damaged original stored in its county museum, but it's not on public display yet.
