One of Viquesney's rare stone Doughboys. The primary visible differences between the stone Doughboy and the widely-placed placed metal Doughboy are that the metal Doughboy stumps are replaced on the stone Doughboy by a large tree trunk that joins the Doughboy at the left hip to help provide stability, the rifle on the stone Doughboy is made of zinc, and the stone version is a little shorter. Interestingly, the copyright shows 1922, but the first two dedicated (Madison, Georgia and Parsons) weren’t dedicated until 1930. Madison, West Virginia’s wasn’t dedicated until 1938.
