NEW YORK
The state of New York has three Doughboys associated with E. M. Viquesney. Two are signed copies at Castile and Harrison, and the third is a copy-after at Vestal made from Viquesney's molds but signed by George F. Yostel and titled "Spirit of Our Heroes". It was damaged and (badly) repaired, with the rifle now held in front with both hands, so that it is no longer in the "standard" "Spirit of the American Doughboy" pose.
